Established in 1992 as an expansion of two prior groups: the East 4th Street Local Development Corporation and the Prospect Avenue Merchant Group, HGN generally includes the area between Public Square and Playhouse Square, Superior and the Innerbelt.
Our mission is to promote the continuing re-development of a unique historic district in Downtown Cleveland into a vibrant commercial, entertainment and residential neighborhood.
Over the past several years, the neighborhood has been a leader of Downtown Cleveland's renewal and emergence as a place to live, work, visit, and enjoy entertainment.
Redevelopment projects completed since 1995 now exceed $450 million; another $123 million of projects are underway and more are in the planning phase.
Join us in these efforts by volunteering or contributing to HGN.
