Storefront Renovation
Program
The Historic Gateway Neighborhood administers the City of
Cleveland Storefront Renovation Program. Building owners and
business owners who qualify can receive a substantial rebate on
signage. Since 1983, the SRP has completed over 990 projects
totaling over $30 million of private investment in Cleveland’s
retail districts including HGN. Your business can benefit as

Development Assistance
HGN serves as a key resource for developers.
Our expertise includes PreDevelopment Assistance, feasibility and
financing evaluation. Additional tools include historic tax credits

The Historic Gateway Neighborhood
(HGN), the local development corporation for the area between Public
Square, Playhouse Square and the Inner Belt, helps present
stakeholders enhance the value and profitability of their businesses
and properties, works in concert with the residential community and
promotes the overall well-being of this special downtown community.
