Historic Gateway Neighborhood
overview

The Historic Gateway Neighborhood boasts a broad range of commercial, residential and entertainment options.

Home to five hotels with over 1000 rooms, HGN is anchored by Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians, and Quicken Loans Arena, home of the current Central Division Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.

Millions of visitors annually enjoy eclectic menus at over four dozen restaurants with offerings ranging from fine dine to cheap eats. National, regional and local concerts rock the House of Blues and Quicken Loans Arena. Much of Downtown Cleveland's Central Business District overlaps HGN and brings thousands of daily commuters.  With a burgeoning residential population, now estimated at over a 1000 in 16 properties, HGN is an active, growing neighborhood. Specialty locally owned and operated retail shops in historic arcades and at street level satisfy the various needs of this diverse population mix.

HGN could very well be nicknamed the Historic GROWTH Neighborhood, because much more is on the way. The recently completed Euclid Avenue Corridor Transportation project links Public Square in downtown Cleveland with University Circle and its collection of institutions and museums. This quarter million dollar public investment is already beginning to pay off as there are currently eight projects underway or announced on Euclid Avenue in our neighborhood.

Whether you're looking for a place to live, enjoy world class sports and entertainment, invest or visit, HGN has a multitude of opportunities for you. Contact us with any specific questions.
